From Media Monoliths to Survivors

In the past two decades the traditional press has gone through a violent transition. Thanks to the internet and the rise of social media, newspapers and magazines have lost revenue and readers in catastrophic quantities. We all know this. But which legacy media brands are thriving and surviving? Who’s behind the elite group of “indie” magazines? With practical cases alongside anecdotes from his 30 year career as a journalist – from print to digital – Mark Tungate examines the past, present and future of the press.
