Having lived his first 20 years behind the Iron Curtain has equipped Adrian with a relentless challenger spirit and a capacity for resilience. Under Botan’s tenure the network has achieved multiple milestones in creativity over the past five years, including the 2019 European Network of the Year by the Cannes Lions Festival of Advertising, Campaign Magazine’s Agency Network of the Year in Europe, 2018 and 2019. In 2019 Adrian was also named EMEA Creative Person of the Year by Campaign UK magazine. During his earlier tenure, as Central East Europe and McCann Bucharest CCO he helped turn around the region, winning a consistent number of accolades in the Clios, One Show, D&AD, a double Cannes Grand Prix and Titanium. Adrian is currently living in London where he is missing the invigorating Eastern European challenges and the proper passing of the seasons.
